Letter from Inez: December 2012

The GBA’s substantial global footprint, its credibility as a consortium of high-profile financial institutions, and most of all, the dedication of the individuals involved all combine to make the Alliance a uniquely powerful tool to advance women’s wealth creation. Women’s financial needs have been the focus of my professional life for the past 20 years. I am excited and honored now to be your new CEO. As Teri’s note mentions (and as I also detailed in my recent letter), the board and I are working on a plan to add substantially to the body of knowledge about what women entrepreneurs need to succeed – and to increase the visibility of the GBA as the leaders in that area. I have already spoken to many of the Alliance members and am looking forward to continuing those discussions. For now, I know that the entire Alliance joins me in thanking Teri for everything she did to lay the foundation upon which we will be building. I am looking forward to working with you all.
