Female Economy Analytics Survey
Every year, the Financial Alliance for Women conducts an annual survey of their member institutions’ women-focused data called the Female Economy Analytics Survey, or FEAS.
It is the only collection of global financial data measuring the performance of institutions serving the Women’s Markets.
Below are the latest FEAS results for 2023, encompassing the data of 51 institutions, across 34 countries. We’ve had a total of 10 years of data collection, with than 14,000 datapoints surveyed.
Aggregate results from last year’s FEAS show this business case is strong as ever. Member data shows that women are profitable customers, with Products per Customer on par with men’s across segments and inching ahead for micro and SMEs. It shows that women are loyal customers; with three quarters of members reporting higher NPS scores for women compared to men. And it shows that women are reliable borrowers – they continue to pay back loans at greater rates than their male counterparts across all segments.
As a result, women’s representation across segments is growing, particularly among WSMEs…
…and increasing their share of financing to WSMEs at an accelerated pace.
Women continue to demonstrate what great customers they are
The annual FEAS allows to produce 2 important reports, the Measuring the Value of the Female Economy Report (MVFE), which aggregates the data through a historical and regional lens, as well as individual benchmarking reports for every institution that participated, which include insights for the institution on how their performance compares with other our network, globally and in your region.
