The Financial Alliance for Women is bringing our acclaimed All-Stars Academy to the Americas in 2019. Alliance member Banco Pichincha will host it in South America for the first time. The event will be held in Quito, Ecuador from November 11-15.
The All-Stars Academy is a 5-day immersion program for senior financial services practitioners that builds knowledge around the business case for targeting the female economy as a distinct market as well as best practices for success. Each session of the Academy is taught by experienced guest lecturers from member banks with thriving Women’s Market and Internal Gender Diversity strategies who offer their expertise on a variety of subjects related to developing and implementing a holistic value proposition for women. Through a highly practical and interactive approach, each participant learns how to successfully execute their own programs and develops an implementable plan to move forward.
The Academy at Banco Pichincha comes on the heels of the bank receiving US$150 million in funding from OPIC, the US development finance organization – of which at least 30 percent is designated for women entrepreneurs. Participants will hear how the funding is helping Banco Pichincha expand its support to women as well as the impact it’s having on the bank overall.
Enrollment at the All-Stars Academy is open to senior financial services executives with responsibility for new business development, marketing or new customer segments. The program is ideal for Alliance members at the early stage of Women’s Market program development as well as those that are not yet members but are seriously considering introducing a program. Non-members are selected to attend through a competitive application process.
In conjunction with the All-Stars Americas, we are pleased to launch the All-Stars Learning Hub, which aggregates key high-level learnings from the All-Stars course curricula in one place to give prospective attendees a bite-sized preview and help previous participants refresh their knowledge. This multimedia e-learning platform takes users through every aspect of the course, from understanding the strategic case for targeting the Women’s Market to building customer value propositions, marketing the program, achieving internal alignment, measuring results and specific regional best practices.
You can access all the information about the All-Stars Americas, including the new Learning Hub and the application to attend, here. If you would like to apply directly, fill out our online application, available in both Spanish and English.
