Time is running out to register for the 2016 Annual Summit of the Global Banking Alliance for Women, to be held October 18 to 20 at IFC headquarters in Washington, DC.
Members must register no later than Friday, September 30, 2016, to reserve their spots at the event. Early registration is particularly important for those who will require a visa to enter the United States, as the visa processing period for some nations is as long as six weeks.
The agenda for the 2016 Summit has been built around the theme “Boosting Business, Powering Growth: Business models to bank the female economy.” Best practice sessions featuring interactive hands-on workshops led by key subject matter specialists will focus on:
In addition to engaging best practice panels and networking opportunities, the 2016 event will kick off with a Master Class on the business case for banks to serve the Women’s Market using case examples from three expert GBA members — Westpac, Australia; Banco BHD León, Dominican Republic; and BLC Bank, Lebanon — and will feature a special forum on the roles key stakeholders in the public and private sectors can play to enable the growth of women-owned businesses.
GBA members have been sent the link to the Summit registration site and their access codes. Members who have not received a code should check with their institution’s GBA liaisons to request it, or email email@example.com.
