The Global Banking Alliance for Women and Chase Bank Kenya are pleased to announce that this year’s GBA Summit will be held October 18 – 20, 2016, in Chase Bank’s headquarter city of Nairobi, Kenya.
The Annual GBA Summit is the Alliance’s flagship event, focusing exclusively on how banks can capture the power of the Women’s Market. With the presence of bankers, policymakers, multilateral and bilateral representatives, academics, and other stakeholders, the GBA Summit is the seminal and most comprehensive event for women’s economic empowerment and financial inclusion in the world.
Chase Bank Kenya is the premier relationship-driven Kenyan bank, offering tailored financial solutions to a wide range of segments. The bank’s Women’s Market program was launched in 2013, targeting micro, middle income/SME, and high-net-worth women with innovative financial and non-financial solutions. The program has attained impressive growth rates and has been recognized internationally since its launch.
The 2015 Summit was hosted by Itaú Unibanco in São Paulo, Brazil, and brought together 150 participants from 30 countries and 48 different organizations to discuss Women’s Market best practices, exchange information and ideas, and make new connections. We expect the attendance and outcomes of the 2016 Summit to be equally impressive.
