RBS releases Enterprise Tracker

GBA members RBS Group just released it’s Q4 Entreprise Tracker. The report tracks people’s attitudes to starting up in business. Most responses are disaggregated by gender. Key gender findings include:
  • Men continue to be more likely than women to want to start their own business (41% male vs 35% female), and continue to be more likely than women to have started it (6% male vs 5% female).
  • Gender differences in early entrepreneurialism activity is exacerbated among young people (15% male vs 8% female).
  • Men continue to be more likely than women to say that now is a good time to start a business or enterprise (29% vs 19%)
  • Women are much less likely than men to know where to go for more information on starting their own business or enterprise (45% vs 32%)
