GBA members RBS Group just released it’s Q4 Entreprise Tracker. The report tracks people’s attitudes to starting up in business. Most responses are disaggregated by gender.
Key gender findings include:
- Men continue to be more likely than women to want to start their own business (41% male vs 35% female), and continue to be more likely than women to have started it (6% male vs 5% female).
- Gender differences in early entrepreneurialism activity is exacerbated among young people (15% male vs 8% female).
- Men continue to be more likely than women to say that now is a good time to start a business or enterprise (29% vs 19%)
- Women are much less likely than men to know where to go for more information on starting their own business or enterprise (45% vs 32%)
