The GBA is thrilled to announce that our Global Ambassador and Chair Emeritus Larke Riemer has been honored as an Officer of the Order of Australia as part of this year’s annual Australia Day Celebrations. She was conferred with the honor “for distinguished service to business and commerce through leadership in the finance and banking industry, and as an advocate for gender equality and diversity in the sector.”
The longtime Head of Women’s Markets at Westpac, Larke has spent more than 30 years as an unwavering champion of women’s economic empowerment in Australia and globally. On behalf of the entire GBA network, heartfelt congratulations to her for this outstanding, well-deserved honor and for showing us the way.
