GBA to Bring All-Stars Academy to MENA in March

The Global Banking Alliance for Women is pleased to open the application for our next All-Stars Academy program, which we are taking to the MENA region for the first time. Conducted in partnership with the Central Bank of Egypt, the program will be held March 24-28 in Cairo. The Academy is a one-of-a-kind learning experience designed to help financial services professionals develop the critical skills they need to serve women well by meeting their real-world needs. Through a highly practical and interactive process, participants gain a thorough understanding of the key elements of a Women’s Market strategy and best practices for supporting its implementation – and develop concrete plans for applying their learnings at their own institutions. Part of the GBA’s world-class peer learning suite, the All-Stars Academy features experienced guest lecturers from member banks with thriving Women’s Market programs offering expertise on a variety of subjects related to developing and implementing a strong, holistic, sustainable program for women. Instructors for the March Academy comprise experts from both GBA best practice banks and the IFC, part of the World Bank Group. Enrollment is open to senior financial services leaders with responsibility for new business development, marketing or new customer segments. The program is ideal for GBA bank members at the early stage of Women’s Market program development as well as banks that are not yet members but are seriously considering introducing a program. Non-members are selected to attend through a competitive application process. Interested parties should fill out the All-Stars Academy application no later than Friday, March 1.
