The deadline to apply for the GBA All-Stars Academy LAC in the Dominican Republic is only four weeks away, and the GBA team will begin reviewing applications and issuing acceptance letters on a rolling basis next week. Apply now to secure your spot at this one-of-a-kind four-day immersion program that teaches participants the key elements of a Women’s Market strategy and best practices for supporting implementation.
The Academy will begin with a Master Class on the strategic case for serving the Women’s Market, followed by a special look at how the Inter-American Development Bank Group is supporting banks to serve women through its women entrepreneurshipBanking initiative. Day two of the program will explore how to create a Women’s Market customer value proposition, including financial and non-financial services, as well as adjustments for lending to very small and small businesses, and the Women’s Market for insurance. Day three will discuss embedding the program within the bank by building the Women’s Market brand, achieving internal alignment, transforming the sales model and becoming the employer of choice for women. The Academy will conclude with a look at measuring the program’s results and building the business case.
The All-Stars Academy LAC will be held May 23-26 and is being hosted by regional best practice bank Banco BHD León. Enrollment is open to senior bank executives with responsibility for new business development, marketing or customer segments. The program is ideal for GBA bank members at the early stage of Women’s Market program development and banks that are not yet members but are seriously considering introducing a program.
