Now is the time to register for this year’s Annual GBA Summit, hosted by NatWest, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland, November 14-16 in London.
The Summit is the GBA’s flagship event, gathering our entire membership for best practice sharing, interactive learning sessions, problem solving discussions and making connections. The theme of this year’s Summit is built around just that, exploring how financial institutions can catalyze growth in the female economy by leveraging the power of connection.
The event will kick off with a half-day Women’s Market Master Class discussing the strategic rationale for serving women with a holistic value proposition and a special EBRD panel focused on their successful Women in Business Programme. The day will continue in the Houses of Parliament at the Palace of Westminster with the Policy Forum on Key Enablers of Women-Led SMEs in the UK, followed by a working session of the All-Party Parliamentary Committee on Women and Enterprise.
The Summit will continue with two days of results-focused best practice sessions covering topics such as:
- The future of financial services
- Disruption that enhances the value proposition for women
- Building customer networks that work for women
- The business case for insurance for the Women’s Market
- Financing different stages of the business lifecycle: the role of alternative lenders
- Achieving gender parity in the workforce
Participants are also invited to attend an all-day training Nov. 17 at the Saïd Business School, Oxford University, on gender intelligence as the bedrock to supporting a Women’s Market strategy, courtesy of the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Members have already received their invitations and instructions on how to register in their inboxes. We urge GBA members to register as soon as possible to reserve your spots and make travel arrangements before area hotels are booked up. Early registration is particularly important if you will need a visa to enter the United Kingdom.
If you are not a GBA member but are interested in attending a Summit event, please write to summit@gbaforwomen.org stating your name, title, organizational affiliation and a brief description of your interest in the event.
