Nedbank: Nedbank, in South Africa, won the Top Empowerment: Enterprise & Supplier Development Award for its Women in Tourism program, which provided business development training for 225 women entrepreneurs in the tourism sector. The organization also celebrated South African Women’s Day on August 9th by creating a Celebr8HerStory campaign showcasing seventeen female leaders from the bank’s workforce. Quds Bank: New member Quds Bank, in Palestine, hosted 100 women entrepreneurs and owners of cooperative societies for a new workshop called Micro Estamada. The Palestinian Monetary Authority funded the workshop, which focused on helping women entrepreneurs access finance.
BPC: Robinson’s Bank (RBank) selected BPC as its solution partner to co-innovate and drive financial inclusion and digital adoption across the Philippines. Using BPC’s SmartVista Platform, RBank will bring new products, including a new virtual credit card, to customers in a highly efficient and cost-effective manner.
BAC Honduras: BAC Honduras launched its Mujeres sin Limites program, which offers a suite of financial and non-financial solutions for women with a focus on entrepreneurs. The program’s holistic value proposition includes training and consultation, as well as the BAC Women Loan with special conditions for WMSMEs, including longer tenures and grace periods.
