At this launch event, they will launch the second edition of the Women, Business and the Law, this year’s report aims to facilitate comparative analysis of legislation across 141 economies and 6 areas of law (accessing institutions, using property, getting a job, providing incentives to work, building credit, and going to court), serving as a resource for research, and contributing to reforms that can enhance women’s economic participation. The 2012 edition will also highlight the key areas of overlap between women’s economic empowerment and their human rights.
