Resource of the Month: Closing The Finance Gap for Dutch Women Entrepreneurs with Code-V

1 Minute Read

Since launching in 2023, Code-V (the Dutch iteration of the WE Finance Code) has built a broad coalition of 107 financial institutions, government agencies, and NGOs. The first year of reporting established the baseline level of funding to women entrepreneurs and set the goal to reach 38 percent of all financing to women entrepreneurs––in line with the percent of women-owned businesses of all businesses in the country––by 2038.

This case study tells the story of Code V’s development and implementation of Code-V, sharing best practices and innovations that other countries can replicate.
