Yara Barq is the Director of the Small Enterprises Credit Department at Bank al Etihad, Jordan. She holds an MBA in Banking and Finance and a BA in Accounting, and is a Certified Corporate Director and Certified SME Finance Expert.
With over 17 years of professional experience across banking, credit, investment, insurance, and development programs, Yara has built extensive expertise in credit review and approval, SME finance, cash flow and financial analysis, and policy development. She previously served as Director of Non-Financial Services at Bank al Etihad, Investment Manager at Amam Ventures, and Deputy Chief of Party at USAID’s Jordan Loan Guarantee Facility.
Yara is also a seasoned trainer, having delivered over 70 workshops for bankers, SME owners, and women entrepreneurs on topics such as credit analysis, financial management, and business planning. She is passionate about SME development, women’s economic empowerment, and advancing best banking practices in Jordan and beyond.
