Valeria Medinaceli Molina, an ambitious individual, began her journey by studying business administration. She earned a full scholarship to pursue a master’s degree in Finance in Switzerland. During her time there, she crossed paths with Jessica Espinoza, who inspired her with a strong commitment to gender equality and women’s roles in society, as well as gender-focused investing. Motivated by her passion and newfound insights, Valeria joined the Gender Lens Initiative for Switzerland under the guidance of Tim Radjy. In this role, she conducted thorough research, careful analysis, and contributed to the Gender Lens Investing Report 2021. Her journey eventually led her to become the CFO and co-founder of Munay, a pioneering social fintech company with a vision to improve microfinance in Latin America and promote financial inclusion for women entrepreneurs.
