Valence is a central bank economist with diverse experience in financial inclusion policy, financial innovation, and monetary and macro-prudential policies.
He previously led BNR’s agenda of accelerating financial inclusion through multiple initiatives, including fintech innovation, financial literacy, financial inclusion data, capacity building within the financial sector, and the development and oversight of the payment regulatory framework.
