Umair Ahmad is Senior Joint Director, in Agricultural Credit & Financial Inclusion Department who has over 17 years of experience at SBP. He looks after implementation of National Financial Inclusion Strategy, Banking on Equality Policy, Asaan Mobile Account Scheme, and Financial Literacy Programs at the central bank. He has been involved in designing and implementing policies and strategies to catalyze market development and financial innovations in the sphere of financial inclusion. Prior to his current assignments at SBP, he was a commercial banker for 7 years.
