With over 24 years of experience, Tohama is a seasoned expert in a including Marketing Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Tourism Product Development, Crisis and Reputation Management, and Support for SMEs led by women. Her work is deeply rooted in advocating for Women Empowerment and Gender Equality.

In 2017, Tohama embarked on a transformative journey with Microfund for Women, taking on the role of Public Relations and External Communications Director. In this capacity, she passionately creates compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences, nurtures and maintains valuable media relationships, leads innovative communications initiatives, and works to elevate the brand’s image both locally and globally.

Drawing on her extensive experience in supervising women’s home-based projects, Tohama was entrusted with managing all non-financial services offered Microfund for Women. Her efforts focus on enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of these projects, increasing marketing and networking opportunities, and ultimately providing women with the tools and resources they need to lead better, more inclusive lives.

Tohama holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the Lebanese American University in Beirut and a Master of Arts in Tourism Destination Management from the University of Granada in Spain.
