Tessa Ruben is a knowledge and research expert in women’s financial inclusion with over a decade of experience in content strategy and data analysis. As Senior Manager of Knowledge and Advocacy at the Financial Alliance for Women, she leads research, policy analysis, and knowledge production, translating data into actionable insights for financial institutions and policymakers.
She oversees the Alliance’s annual data collection and reporting, producing widely cited evidence on the business case for serving women, as well as benchmarking tools for members. Tessa also leads global working groups and convenes the Data Community of Champions, a policy forum for regulators across multiple regions.
A regular speaker and published author, she has contributed to key industry reports and case studies on women’s financial inclusion. Prior to the Alliance, she worked in digital strategy at Publicis Groupe and Wavemaker. She holds an MBA from Yale and a BA from Tufts University.
