Pablo Freund is the Founder of Bare Maximum, a boutique advisory firm, working with companies leading the emergence of an ethical, sustainable and regenerative economy. Pablo also serves as Senior Associate to Criterion Institute, a think tank focused on how the financial system can drive change in gender and power dynamics in the world, he is the data science lead for the Financial Alliance for Women.

Pablo’s work focuses on supporting financial institutions, multilateral organizations, start-ups, social enterprises, NGOs, and companies around the world that are innovating, disrupting and transforming their fields; from innovation strategy to economic development and data analysis. Prior to launching Bare Maximum, Pablo co-founded Be Girl, a company focused on making high-performance menstrual hygiene products radically accessible for women and girls globally. A committed advocate, Pablo also lends his voice to advancing gender equality, human rights and sustainable development as a speaker and author of published articles across many science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. A native of Quito, Ecuador, he has an MSc in Sustainability Management from Columbia University’s Earth Institute and BAs from Brown University in Economics and History of Art and Architecture.
