Mwansa is Head of Personal and Private Banking, Africa Regions at Standard Bank Group. She spearheads strategy in 14 countries in East, West, South and Central Africa to achieve sustainable growth for the retail business and the Continent. Prior to this she held several leadership roles in Standard Bank including the role of Personal and Business Banking Head in Stanbic Bank Zambia, where she delivered a women proposition (Anakazi). With over 23 years’ experience in financial services, she’s worked for Barclays and Standard Chartered. During her time at Standard Chartered, she was the Head of Product and Business Development in the UAE, General Manager: SME Banking and Head of Premium Banking for Southern Africa. Mwansa holds an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School, United Kingdom.
