She started her career with HSBC as customer service officer and within a short span of time being promoted to Relationship Manager , HSBC NRB Services. Following the role in HSBC , join in Standard Chartered bank after working for HSBC for 5 years and joining StanCHart as Senior Relationship Manager, Priority Banking. Moved to the role of Associate Director, Priority Banking within 2 years of joining for achievements in growing deposit business and outstanding performance in retail business from Priority customers. Also worked as Senior Product Manager for Islamic Product development. Being passionate about transforming the lives of many women in the country through empowering entrepreneurship , easy banking solutions and financial inclusion ,TARA was launched and established in Bangladesh through the hands of her. From the initiation to the launch the entire journey was installed in BRAC bank with the help of all departments through Mehruba.
