Senior Vice President of Talent Management, Banco BHD, Dominican Republic

Martha Peralta is Senior Vice President of Talent Management where she directs important cultural transformation and institutional reorganization processes. She is a human resources and talent management professional with more than 30 years of experience in sustainable human development. She is an industrial psychologist, with a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Quebec Montreal, Canada. She is also an executive coach, certified by IESEC Human. Together with the presidency of the Bank, she contributes to the implementation of the BHD Women’s Gender Strategy in its internal dimension, leading the design and execution of gender equality and equity labor practices. This has earned the financial entity certification with the Igualando RD Platinum Seal, being the first Dominican company to obtain it, which has collaborated with the positioning of Banco BHD as a national and regional reference in gender issues. She is an expert in leading processes related to human talent in corporate mergers. Her most recent management project was to build the BHD brand. She also led similar processes with the entities Banco Fiduciario, Republic Bank and Banco de la Pequeña y Mediana Empresa. Her professional work has been recognized by international and local firms such as Great Place to Work, Korn Ferry, Mercado Magazine, among others. She is a founding member of the Crecimiento Juntas reading club and a member of the Corporate Family Responsibility Observatory at Barna Management School. Likewise, she is a standard bearer of the family and the values that move Dominican society forward. That is why she promotes balance between work life and personal life.
