Katarina has worked in development finance for the ProCredit Group over the past 13 years, contributing to decarbonisation, sustainable agriculture and green finance for SMEs in Latin America and Eastern Europe. Most recently, Katarina took on the role of Head of Group Sustainability at ProCredit Holding in Frankfurt. In this role, she oversees the group’s environmental management, the implementation of net-zero strategy, the climate action and transition plan, advocates for inclusive finance and gender equity while also contributes as a director’s board member of ProCredit Bank Ecuador. Katarina holds a degree in Agribusiness from the University of Belgrade and her academic journey has taken her to the Frankfurt School of Finance, INCAE and the Massachusetts Institute for Technology.
