Inez Murray is a global leader in women’s financial inclusion with nearly 30 years of experience shaping the financial services industry. As CEO of the Financial Alliance for Women, she leads a global consortium of institutions across 160+ countries, driving women’s wealth creation at scale. Since 2012, she has transformed the Alliance into a high-growth, influential organization, expanding membership to 100 institutions and increasing revenues more than eightfold.
Inez has played a pivotal role in defining the business case for serving women, leading the development of global data platforms, influential research, and the WE Finance Code, now active in 30+ countries. A trusted advisor to financial institutions, investors, and policymakers, she is known for translating strategy into scalable solutions.
Previously, she spent over 15 years at Women’s World Banking and began her career in strategy consulting and international development. She holds degrees from Columbia University and Trinity College Dublin.
