Hena Mehta

Hena Mehta is Founder & CEO of Basis, a first-of-its-kind platform that powers financial independence for Indian women. Previously at Goldman Sachs, Ezetap and Square, Hena has 10+ years’ experience in FinTech in software engineering and product management roles in the US and India. She is also the founder and Chapter Leader of Lean In’s Bangalore Chapter. Hena has an MBA from The Wharton School, and a Computer Science Engineering degree from UPenn.

 

Basis is a first-of-its-kind app that powers financial independence for the urban Indian woman, anchored in education and communities. We provide bite-sized knowledge boosters, cohesive communities and curated tools, resources and advisory services to enable women to plan their finances on their own terms. Through Basis, women can learn about, discuss and act on money decisions across income generation, savings, investments, goal-planning, insurance, loans, inheritance and more.
