Florence Boupda Ngueda is currently Global Sector Manager, Financial Institutions Group (FIG), Banking and Insurance, at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). In her current role, she leads the operational implementation of IFC’s strategy in the Banking and Insurance sectors, with the objective to maintain IFC’s sector leadership through innovative products and approaches, keeping with evolving trends. Florence has dedicated the past 18 years at IFC to finding and supporting investment opportunities in the financial sector in emerging markets, including 14 years in Africa. Before joining IFC, she worked in Investment Banking for 4 years in London, Paris and New York City. Florence holds a Master’s Degree in General Management from HEC Paris (1999) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (2005). She enjoys sports; spending time with family and traveling. She sits on the Africa Advisory Board (AAB) of the Harvard Business School and recently joined the Financial Alliance for Women as Board Member.
