Annabel is an experienced digital economy consultant. For the past 8 years she has worked with foundations and companies across Africa and Asia on how to leverage technology for sustainable development. With a previous background in digital finance and financial inclusion, more recently she has been working on projects related to the future of work and skill development for youth in a digital age. At Caribou Digital, Annabel co-manages a 7 year-long learning partnership project, funded by the Mastercard Foundation. The project is currently exploring how digital marketplace platforms are helping to fill skills gaps among the small-scale vendors and self-employed workers (gig-workers) who use their sites.
