Biography:
Agnes Aleyo Ala has built a career in the banking sector, particularly with KCB Bank Group, one of the largest financial institutions in East Africa with over 17 years’ experience in Banking. She has worked in various units i.e Banking Operations, Service, Quality and Compliance, Sales & Growth including Branch Management and later transitioned to MSME Banking where she is the Manager FLME (Female Led & Made Enterprises) and supporting initiatives for Entrepreneurship and Business growth.

She studied at the University of Nairobi, where she earned a master’s degree in project management and holds certifications in HR and Customer KYC Compliance.

Agnes is certified by (FAW) Financial Alliance for Women in Mastering the Strategy for Winning Women’s Markets. Additionally, she is a Certified Agile Practitioner.

Agnes Aleyo has served in leadership roles at KCB, including:
– Manager, Service Quality & Compliance at KCB Group.
– Accelerating Enabling Entrepreneurial Ecosystems Manager and later Sales Specialist at KCB Bank Group.
