We’ve got a packed agenda today at the 2016 GBA Summit, starting with remarks from our Spotlight Speaker, Jackie VanderBrug of U.S. Trust, Bank of America, who will discuss the power of gender lens investing. Day two of the Summit also features two dynamic best practice tracks, where attendees can hear from experts in such critical areas as strong diversity and inclusion policies and practices, embedding Women’s Market programs in the bank, tailoring insurance offerings to the Women’s Market, and how to maximize the ROI of non-financial services for women.
Other key sessions will explore how fintech and big data are transforming the financial services landscape for women entrepreneurs, and enable attendees to meet 10 featured GBA members representing a variety of geographies, experiences and areas of expertise. During these meetings, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss successes, challenges and lessons learned face-to-face with some of the GBA’s most knowledgable members.
The day will be capped off by the Annual GBA Gala Dinner, held at the Organization of American States. This year’s Gala Dinner will honor the winners of the GBA Women’s Market Champion Awards. 2016 winners include: Banco G&T Continental — El Salvador, Bank of Luoyang, Bank of Palestine, Banque Franco-Lao and TEB Kosovo, New Program Awards; Banco Nacional de Costa Rica, Data Award; HBL, Highest Engagement Award; Banco BHD León and TEB, Outstanding Contributors Awards; BLC Bank, Leadership Award; and Westpac, Lifetime Achievement Award.
