The panel featured Lloyd Blankfein, CEO of Goldman Sachs, Christine Lagarde Managing Director, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Cathy Russell, Ambassador for Global Women’s Issues at the US State Department. The model was moderated by Caroline Atkinson White House Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economics and hosted by Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor to President Barack Obama.
Panelists discussed the importance of women as economic actors and the need for the public and private sector, civil society and women entrepreneurs to work together collectively to address the challenges.
