2019 Summit Preview: Day 2

2 Minutes Read

Day 2 of the 2019 Annual Financial Alliance for Women Summit has a packed agenda, featuring insights and reflections from across the Women’s Market ecosystem – from decision-makers and implementers to technology and diversity and inclusion experts.

Leaders hailing from different regions across the Alliance’s membership will take the stage for a rich discussion about motivations, challenges and disruption. After an enlightening fireside chat exploring companies’ progress toward gender parity and what needs to be done to increase it going forward, the Summit will continue to look toward the future, exploring trends in technology driving huge changes in health care and how financial services providers are leveraging them to add value for women. Wrapping up the morning session will be a special Alliance Talk on our partnership with Mastercard, Women by Design.

In the afternoon, participants will have their choice of parallel sessions, beginning with a discussion among some of the Alliance’s top Women’s Market implementers on their successes, challenges and how they’re overcoming them; or a workshop exploring approaches to creating an inclusive organizational culture. Next up, a segmentation focus: supporting women entrepreneurs to access markets or how to best add value to un/underserved women. The parallel sessions will conclude with a look at innovative and cutting-edge technologies to serve the client of tomorrow, or attendance at the second dynamic entry in the Women’s Financial Inclusion Data Partnership’s Roundtable series exploring the critical need for gender data among FSPs seeking to serve women.

The day will conclude with the annual Women’s Market Champion Awards, honoring Alliance members that are truly moving the needle for women in the markets they serve. Stay tuned for an announcement of our winners, and follow us on social media at @FAforWomen for live photos and updates.
