Registration is open for the 2015 Annual Summit of the Global Banking Alliance for Women, to be held September 29 to October 1 and hosted by Itaú Unibanco at their headquarters in São Paulo, Brazil. Mark your calendars for this important event, which will bring together bankers, policymakers and thought leaders to network and discuss best practices around capturing the female economy.
The Alliance’s 2014 Summit in Washington, D.C., was our largest ever, bringing together more than 200 attendees from 34 countries to exchange information and ideas, and make new connections. We expect our 2015 Annual Summit to be just as productive.
The agenda for the 2015 Summit has been built around the top areas of interest that were revealed by a poll of GBA members. Panels this year will focus on Driving Women’s Market Performance, particularly:
- Customer Insights: What the Alliance knows about women customers
- Business Case: Strengthening data and building the business case
- Customer Advocacy: Key drivers of Net Promoter Score
- Program Implementation: Roles and responsibilities from the C-Suite to relationship managers, and unconscious bias training for staff
- Segment Value Propositions for very small and start-up businesses, high-growth entrepreneurs, the unbanked and the mass market, and by lifecycle need
- Digital marketing and social media strategies
- Beyond the Bank: What needs to be in place to support women-owned SMEs.
Apart from engaging Best Practice panels and networking events, the 2015 event will feature an Exposure Visit to host Itaú Unibanco and a first-of-its-kind Global Data Symposium, a multi-stakeholder conversation on how data can be used to incent more financial services providers to serve the Women’s Market, and to design more effective national policy around improving women’s access to and use of financial services.
GBA members have been sent the link to the Summit registration site and their access codes. If you are not a member but are interested in attending the 2015 Summit, please write to summit@gbaforwomen.org with a brief description of your interest in the event.
