Women’s Market Workforce Training

The Women’s Market Workforce Training is a training of trainers program offered to Alliance members to enable them to train their own staff to design and deliver a Women’s Market program. Based on member experience, it includes key insights, tools and templates that members can use to embed the program across their organizations.

Who can take the course?

The Women’s Market Workforce Training is a Train-the-Trainer designed for individuals who are responsible for designing and implementing training within the organization. It is recommended to be taken by the Women’s Market Manager, Women’s Market project team and the HR staff development team.

Training objectives

Through this program participants will:

  • Understand the importance of building the workforce’s awareness of the female economy as a fundamental tool for embedding the program within your institution.
  • Identify key stakeholders who should participate in the training, ensuring their active involvement in the process.
  • Learn how to best structure the training including key topics necessary to embed a women’s markets program.
  • Understand how to evaluate the training efforts and ensure their impact on embedding women’s markets within the organization.

Training content?

The training is in three parts.

  • Part 1 focuses on the importance of training employees as part of embedding your organization’s women-centered strategy and understanding your organization’s goals, objectives, and specific training needs.
  • Part 2 focuses on the training content and includes supporting materials such as slides, case studies and exercises for your use.
  • Part 3 focuses on rolling out the training, measuring impact, and ensuring long-term organizational alignment.
