Chief Marketing Officer, Westpac Group, Australia
Martine joined the Westpac Group in November 2010 as General Manager, Marketing & Customer Experience at Westpac New Zealand where she was instrumental in the transformation of the Westpac brand in the New Zealand market.
In November 2012 Martine transferred to the St.George Banking Group to take up the role of General Manager, Marketing & Customer Experience. In November 2013 Martine also added the roles of CEO RAMS and General Manager of Mortgage Broking to her portfolio.
In these roles, Martine was responsible for the leadership and growth of the RAMS and St.George mortgage broking businesses across Australia. On top of this, she helped to refresh the St. George brand in Australia, as well as delivering an exceptional customer service experience across the St. George Banking Group.
Following the formation of the Westpac Consumer Banking division, Martine was appointed Chief Marketing Officer for the Westpac Group. In this role Martine has oversight of all brand and marketing activity for all Westpac Group Brands including Westpac, St.George, BankSA, Bank of Melbourne and RAMS.
Prior to joining Westpac, Martine held various General Manager positions at National Australa Bank, as well as experience in the television and airline industries.
Martine is known for her genuine passion for people and customers, and this combined with her strong leadership skills means she develops highly engaged and motivated teams which deliver outstanding results. She is also a Governor of St.George Foundation, which helps support charities that look after disadvantaged children in Australia.
