The Program

Serving more than 7 million women customers, Davivienda has developed a number of initiatives to help support Colombian women. Through DaviPlata, the country’s first mobile solution, 11 million Colombians, 60% of which are women, have accessed financial services from their cell phones, many for the first time, at no cost. subsidy payments from the government directly on their cell phone, avoiding travel and allowing the beneficiaries to have free access to a financial offer.  In 2020, Davivienda announced the issuance of a US$100 million gender bond, the first social bond with a gender focus  incentives linked to objectives, structured by IDB Invest. Through this commitment and beyond, Davivienda is  strategies that allow women inclusive access to financial products and services.
