About The Program
In several banks, BNPP setup financial solutions dedicated to women entrepreneurship like in France, in Turkey or in Morocco. Bank of The West (BOTW) also sells express loan solutions and has setup a partnership with Ulule around crowdfunding.
In addition to financial solutions, numerous coaching programs have been created around helping women strengthen their entrepreneur skills (BNP Paribas in France, BNL, TEB…). BNP Paribas Wealth Management is also supporting the Women Entrepreneur Program.
BNL, Fortis, TEB and the BICICI share content dedicated to women entrepreneurs. Bank of the West launched WEsource, a portal dedicated to women entrepreneurs with articles, tutorials and videos, in order to help women to create their business, find financing, improve their network.
BNP Paribas shares its network with Women entrepeneurs: Incubateur Willa, Digital Magics, WeConnect International, Prem1eres, Femmes Business Angels, Women Business Mentoring Initiative, etc. TEB offers to its SME clients free consulting sessions through its branch network in Turkey.
For 31 years, BNP Paribas has supported microfinance for more than 2,4 millions people, including 83 % of women, thanks to the financing of 84 Microfinance Institutions (MFI) in 33 countries. BOTW is a Grameen America (MFI) partner. In Belgium, MicroStart (co-funded by BNP Paribas Fortis in 2011) has launched a campaign to support women entrepreneurship with a goal to disburse 450 microloans to women CEOs
