2015 GBA Summit | Global Data Symposium

The GBA Summit Global Data Symposium examined the gap in financial services to women from both the demand side and the supply side, bringing together GBA banks, policymakers, Development Finance Institutions and government agencies to explore the challenges and opportunities surrounding the collection and use of sex-disaggregated data, and discuss concrete actions that will narrow data gaps and shape the way forward. Key panels shared findings from a multi-stakeholder consultative process on the widespread production and use of sex-disaggregated banking data, and revealed lessons learned from recent GBA country case studies.
